Welcome to San Juan Diego Catholic High School, “The School That Works!”

In a city where nearly 40% of our Hispanic youth are dropping out of high school, and where public high schools are increasingly deemed “unacceptable” by the State of Texas, it is gratifying to be part of “The School That Works!”

Through our innovative Corporate Work Study Program, our students gain on-the-job experience in the corporate world, while earning the tuition of their quality, Catholic, college-preparatory education. All our students graduate with an Advanced Diploma of 30 credits, with four years of experience in the corporate world, and with over 100 hours of service learning. Indeed, when they graduate from our school community, our students are well prepared for college and career success!

The English word “education” descends from the Latin root ducere, which means “to lead.” Here at San Juan Diego Catholic High School, we are preparing a generation of young minds and hearts to be leaders for our city, state and nation. Just imagine the impact our students will soon be making in our community and our world!
